Who we are
Stellarizon Digitals Ltd operates RevChive — The Archive of Car Culture and this website. This policy explains how we handle information under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
What the website collects
Our hosting infrastructure may create server and access logs for security, reliability and fraud prevention. Analytics cookies are used only where you have consented. We do not use cross-site tracking.
What the app collects
The app stores your nickname and personalisation data — including garage selections, streaks, votes and which alerts you have switched on — locally on your device only. This information is not sent to our servers. If you opt in to a daily-digest email, we collect your email for that purpose alone.
Notifications
RevChive can send you optional reminders — Daily Car Culture stories, weekly Car Battles, and the Daily Trivia challenge. These notifications are entirely opt-in: they are off until you turn them on from Settings, and you can turn any of them off again at any time.
All alerts are scheduled privately on your own device. RevChive does not run a notification server, does not register your device with us, and does not track whether you open a notification.
We do not collect a push token or any device identifier for notifications, and no personal information is sent to us or to any third party to deliver them.
You can also disable RevChive notifications entirely from your device's system settings at any time.
Lawful bases and retention
- Consent: analytics and optional marketing email.
- Legitimate interests: security and fraud prevention.
- Server logs are retained for 90 days; email data until unsubscribed; device data is user-controlled.
Cookies and providers
See our Cookie Policy. Hosting providers, privacy-preserving analytics, Google Play and Apple App Store may process limited information under their own policies. Where international transfers apply, appropriate safeguards are used.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or portability, and withdraw consent. Contact us at contact@stellarizondigitals.com. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Children and changes
RevChive is not directed at children under 13. We may update this policy and will publish the new version on this page.
