Terms of Service — Buddlo: Global Friends

Welcome to Buddlo: Global Friends ("Buddlo", "the app"), published by Stellarizon Digitals Ltd ("the Company", "we", "us"). By downloading or using Buddlo, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If a child is using Buddlo, a parent or guardian should review and accept these Terms on their behalf.

1. What Buddlo is

Buddlo is an educational, all-ages app where you chat with friendly AI characters from around the world to learn about geography, cultures, foods, landmarks, languages, and fun facts. The companions are artificial-intelligence characters, not real people.

2. Who can use Buddlo

Buddlo is designed for a general, all-ages audience, including children. If you are a child, please use Buddlo with a parent or guardian's knowledge. By using Buddlo you confirm that any required parent/guardian consent has been given.

3. Acceptable use

When using Buddlo, please:

• Be kind and respectful in chats.
• Do not share personal information (real full name, address, school, phone number, passwords) in chats or your nickname.
• Do not attempt to misuse, hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the app.
• Do not use the app for any unlawful purpose.

4. AI-generated content

Companion replies and fun facts are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for educational and entertainment purposes. While we aim for accuracy and age-appropriateness and apply safety filters, AI can occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. Please treat information as a starting point for learning and verify important facts independently.

5. Photos and third-party content

Photos of places are provided by Openverse, Pexels, and Pixabay under royalty-free or open licences and remain the property of their respective photographers and licensors. Buddlo uses Google Gemini to power conversations and Google AdMob to display non-personalized, child-directed ads. Your use of these features is also subject to those providers' terms, referenced in our Privacy Policy.

6. Ads

Buddlo is free and supported by non-personalized advertising configured for an all-ages, child-directed audience with a general-audiences ("G") content rating. We do not use targeted/behavioural advertising.

7. Your data

Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy. You can permanently delete your data at any time from Settings → Delete My Data.

8. Intellectual property

Buddlo, its name, mascot, characters, design, and content (excluding third-party photos) are owned by Stellarizon Digitals Ltd and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial enjoyment only.

9. Disclaimers

Buddlo is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, including that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI content will be fully accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stellarizon Digitals Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Buddlo. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot be limited by law, including consumer rights.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date when we do. Continued use of Buddlo after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
